King of the deer world. Passed away 07-12-2025 R.I.P

Charlie Falconer holds one side of a monster bull cut just recently in December 2024. Guess the weight!

New Zealand's happiest and efficient wapiti Ai technician Simone Bouwmeester at the business end of a wapiti cow!

Tom had a big day out not only being honoured as a life member of the society but also taking out the big velvet competition awards of Reserve Champion and Champion of Champions!

Tom May graciously accepting his life membership award Cromwell, February 2024. Enthusiastically all things Elk is our man Tom, well deserved.

This bull is a stunner, he cut somewhere between 10.64kg @ 2 yrs old! To find out what that weight was and see the velvet in the flesh, The Gate Hotel, Cromwell, Feb 3rd, 2024 from 4.pm Along with Tikana there are two other breeders entering 10kg plus 2 yr old elk velvet heads!

35 years of breeding adds two addition tines and, in some circles, that's a big bonus!

Another lovely typical elk bull on the green fields of Southland.
